Matej Vitek is an assistant and researcher at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He received his BSc in 2015 from the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics and Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Ljubljana, and received his MSc in 2018 from the same institutions. He received his PhD from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana in 2024. He co-organised the Sclera Segmentation Benchmarking Competitions at the IEEE/IAPR International Joint Conference on Biometrics in 2020 and 2023. He has served as a reviewer for reputable computer vision and biometrics conferences and journals. His current research focuses on lightweight sclera recognition. His past projects included work in game development and artificial intelligence, as well as quantum computing and circuits.

Peter Rot is a researcher at the Laboratory for Machine Intelligence, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and the Laboratory for Computer Vision, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He received his Bachelor's (2015) and Master's (2018) degrees from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science and he is currently pursuing a PhD in computer science at the University of Ljubljana. During his undergraduate studies he completed several internships, including internships at the Jozef Stefan Institute (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and Philips (Belfast, UK). His research interests include privacy aspects of face biometrics, sclera recognition and deep learning. Peter is a student member of the IEEE, a member of IAPR and a reviewer for top-tier conferences and journals, such as the IEEE Transactions in Information Forensics and Security (TIFS), Face and Gesture (FG), and the Computer Vision Winter Workshop (CVWW).

Vitomir Štruc is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He was a guest Assistant Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame during the summer of 2015. Vitomir received his PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ljubljana in 2010, for which he was awarded the 2011 Vodovnik award, and is the recipient of the “2015 young researcher award” of the University of Ljubljana. Vitomir participated in several national and EU funded R&D projects and authored (or co-authored) more than 100 research papers for leading international peer reviewed journals and conferences related to different areas of computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and biometrics. Vitomir has served on the organizing committees of several workshops and conferences and is currently sponsorship co-chair for BTAS 2019, a finance co-chair for IEEE FG 2019, and the workshop chair for WACV 2020. He previously served as a workshop&tutorial co-chair for IEEE FG 2018, a competition co-chair for IEEE/IAPR IJCB 2017, a progam co-chair for ISPA 2017, co-organizer of the 2017 Biometrics in the Wild workshop (BWild 2017) and the finance chair for IEEE FG 2019. Vitomir is a member of the editorial board of IET Biometrics, an associate editor for Elsevier’s Signal Processing and the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (T-IFS). He is a section editor for the IEEE Biometrics Compendium and served as a guest editor for Image and Vision Computing for two special issues. Vitomir is a member of the IEEE, IAPR, the national contact point for the European Association for Biometrics (EAB) and the former vice-president, former treasurer and current president of the Slovenian Pattern Recognition Society (branch of IAPR).

Peter Peer is a full professor at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he also heads the Computer Vision Laboratory, coordinates the double degree study programme with the Kyungpook National University, South Korea, and serves as the Vice Dean for Economic Affairs. He received his PhD from the same institution in 2003, after which he was an invited post-doc researcher at CEIT in San Sebastian, Spain. His field of research is computer vision with a focus on biometrics. He participated in several national and EU funded R&D projects and (co-)authored over 100 research papers in respected scientific peer-reviewed journals and conferences related to computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and biometrics. He co-organised the Unconstrained Ear Recognition Challenge at the IEEE/IAPR International Joint Conference on Biometrics in 2017 and at the IAPR International Conference on Biometrics. In 2018 he was a co-editor of an IET Biometrics special issue on ear recognition. He currently serves as an associate editor for IEEE Access and IET Biometrics. He is a memeber of EAB, IAPR, and IEEE. He also served for 4 years as chairman of the Slovenian IEEE Computer chapter.
